New Permanent Mailing Address & New Board Members…

The Camden Alumni Association has a new “permanent” mailing address:

Camden Alumni Association
PO Box 113
Camden, NY 13316-0113

This address will be used for all future incoming mail: Dues Payments, Banquet Reservations, etc.

We would also like to announce the addition of two new board members:

  • Registrar: Dustin Scholz, Class of 1999
  • Director, Membership Committee: Charles [Chuck] Hurd, Class of 2002

Welcome to the Board of Directors, Dustin & Chuck. As time goes on over the next several months, I will be advising and assisting Dustin & Chuck as they get acquainted with the systems in place for the Alumni Association. By the time the June 2023 Banquet rolls around, they should be well versed in the systems and I will completely step aside except for possible website maintenance and assistance with the annual mailing.

In the future, our Treasurer, Deanne Suits, will be handling the incoming payments & mail, and then turning over the forms to our new Registrar for processing into the alumni database.

2022 Banquet Photos Finally Posted!!

Apologies for the delay in posting the 2022 Banquet Photos, I really thought I had done it a few months ago after I got the pictures from Marie Mastracco that she took during the banquet, as I was not in attendance to take pictures myself….

Annual Banquet Invitations Being Mailed This Week!

Sorry for the delay in getting the postal invitation & registration forms into the mail for this year’s return of the Annual Dinner Banquet on June 11th. Unfortunately, two days after I completed the printing of the addresses on the pre-printed mailers, I tested positive for Covid-19! Fortunately, I am fully vaccinated and boosted, but my booster shot was five months before I tested positive, so it was definitely wanning in effectiveness. Although I never experienced any severe symptoms, the virus still really walloped me with muscle weakness and physical exhaustion for over two weeks. But, I am finally on the mend, the mailers are now folded, sealed, trayed and headed to the post office on Monday. The mailers for all dues paid active members actually went to the post office on Friday, thanks to our president’s, Kim Dean, husband John coming to the house to pick them up and deliver them to the Camden Post Office.

Since the mailers were printed with addresses on April 2nd, you may get one in the mail even though you sent in your reservation and/or dues & scholarship donation in the past three weeks… I could not pick out those people who already sent in their forms, as that would mess up the mailing as declared in the postage statement paperwork for the post office.
